Brian Stelter rebukes CNN on final show

Brian Stelter, the host of Reliable Sources, CNN's media affairs show that was canceled last week after 30 years,

used his final episode Sunday to blast the network's new bosses and reveal their intention to adopt a more "neutral voice."

"Standing up for decency and democracy and the conversation is unbiased,"

Stelter said in his closing monologue, which he insisted was not detected by CNN management before he delivered it live.

"Standing up against demagogues isn't discrimination—it's necessary, it's patriotism."

He added: Care should be taken not to give a platform to those who lie to their face.

Last Wednesday, CNN delivered Stelter his discharge papers.
